so my original preordered Note7 was sent back as defective pre recall announcement, and hey shipped me a new one. soon after the recal was announced and I turned this one in to a local store for a full refund. however I was stll waiting for the initiall refund for the first device (had to re-order/purchase that 2nd one). On 9/12 tmo in TX received the shipment and last night I finally got an emal/textsaying "return receved for processing". now, ths evenng, I get an email from UPS saying I have a delivery tomorrow(weds 9/21). so it appears instead of processing a refund, they shipped my a new one. I hae sinced moved back to my Note5 and am happy. Should I give Note7 another try? (is this a sign to try it again? what if I deny the delivery?- will tmo credit me this time when they receive it??
I dealt with the return process thru twitter help, they sent me the return label etc. I was kinda looking forward to getting a credit back on my CC but am wondering with allthe hassles peope are ha
PSA Verizon M7 Owners Should SOFF Now!
location: droidfarm.com - date: April 5, 2015
This post will serve as a public service announcement. I have had the opportunity to get my hands on both the M9 and the S6 this past week. I have to say that the S6 is better than the M9 in nearly every way. The only thing that the M9 has going for it is developer friendliness. Well one day it will be developer friendly, or at least it has a much better chance of being developer friendly than the S6. Security experts have had much better luck unlocking HTC bootloaders.
If you are looking to use roms and install custom recoveries on your Verizon HTC One M7 you will want to go ahead and S-Off your device NOW! There is an update coming later in the week that will patch the exploit that the Sunshine S-Off method uses. The S-Off method is super simple. Just download Sunshine app, pay the $25 fee and the app does all the work for you! Head to the link below to get started, just be sure to do this before taking the update.
So torn; Keep the HTC One (M8) or get the Galaxy S5 ?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 27, 2014
Hello, would like some honest advice and opinions please, on whether to keep my new ATT HTC One M8 or get the ATT Galaxy S5 ?
I am no fanboy, I have owned like 11 or 12 different Android phones over the past four years, HTC, Samsung, LG, Motorola, etc... To me the company brand doesn't really matter whatsoever. In this order is my opinion on most important features; #1 = Best battery life, #2 = Best screen, #3 = Pocketable and good feel in hand, and weight in pants / shorts, #4 = Root option, to debloat the phone, and install apps like AdAway, and Greenify, and Xposed Framework, #4 = Smoothness of the OS and UI, no lag, and good looking UI.
Little recent phone history the past year, I have had the ATT S4 since the Fall, and before that the Nexus 4. Got rid of the Nexus due to average battery life, and dropped it and cracked the screen. Got the ATT S4, and liked it, but didn't know about the lock bootloader before I bought it, so Root was my only option, but I was cool with that, r
Hate Sprint so much right now! (LTE sucks) (part II)

Since some fools messed up my other thread, let's start a new thread!
From the old one:
Yesterday when I was running errands, I wanted to compare prices of a product online versus a store, so I decided to Google it. Of course, just my luck, the connection wouldn't load the page, although as you can see in the screenshot attached, I have LTE reception. It's so frustrating how Sprint's LTE rollout is so crappy, and they're trying to run on "Unlimited data." Maybe if it were quality data, it would be worth it.
I'm in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. This is from today, look at the 4G LTE signal bars, yet the internet still wouldn't load, on the bottom of the screen, the "Please check your internet connection and try again." message popped up and I caught it just in time.
And if you think Facebook was down and has nothing to do with Sprint, leave this thread (and the world of technology) forever!
I HATE YOU SPRINT
Ok so I'm rooted, now what should I do??

I'm a rooted noob, I need help with what I should do with a rooted note. My biggest reason I rooted was for the ability to use any app in multi window. Mission accomplished on that!

I want to buy an unlocked Moto X (1st gen), should I buy it now ($ 350) or do you guys think the price will drop when we're closer to the new Moto X release?
I'm guessing that once the new Moto X becames available at motomaker, the 1st gen won't be available anymore, right?

Hey there Android Forums community, my name is Alvis and I come from the Android Central community. Today I am here to share with you my utility that I've worked on for some time now. Hope its a big help
Well, I've been messing with ADB more and more, and i decided to whip this little thing up. It's as simple as "pressing any key" a few times.
Everything is working 100% fully debugged by me. Personally I returned to stock probably 15 81 times debugging all these things, all are fullproof and fixed.

Should i buy LG G Flex now or wait for Galaxy S 5 ?
location: droidradar.com - date: November 16, 2013
im really bored with my iphone 5 now, even cheap nokias seem more interesting.
so its time for an upgrade to an android device.
i REALLY REALLY love the phone LG G Flex, which will release soon worldwide and in my country India too.
its perfect for my need, its curved and i have used nexus s and i know what curved screen means, its just wonderful.
also, it comes with OLED display and the phone and screen both look just stunning.
plus, ive heard LG G2 and G Flex are getting the latest android 4.4 very soon.
i dont know what i can ask more in a phone.
the processor, ram, gpu etc are all more than enough for my needs, all i think is that galaxy s 5 may have a revolutionary (and useful) innovative feature.
so the main question is should i go ahead and buy it or wait for galaxy s 5 ?
what do you think?
Should I keep iPhone 5s or Note 3?
location: droidradar.com - date: December 14, 2013
Right now I have both the the 5s and the Galaxy Note 3, and have a few more days left before I have to send one back...
I love the Note 3. It's an amazing device. The only thing is the size. It just seems like it might be too big for an every day phone.
While the Note 3 is definitely superior to the Iphone... I love the form factor on the Iphone. It's very light and easy to hold.
What should I do? Should I keep the Iphone and just get a Nexus 7 tablet? Or should I keep the Note 3 and just deal with the size. lol
