Weather app doesn't need GPS?
location: droidmania.com - date: September 24, 2011
Is there a weather app that doesn't require GPS to be on to display info in my home screen? As in, I'm fine if it will only display the weather for a fixed zip code that I give it and not update as I move around.
stuck on boot logo screen and need help to identify tablet
location: droidmania.com - date: March 28, 2012
I have two of these tablets (1 for each child) and 1 has completely locked up on the boot screen with the android guy that says Android 2.3. I have tried the reset button and all combinations with power/volume buttons to no avail. There is no access to a battery compartment and I've let the battery drain and still nothing. I've read that I can reflash the Rom but I do know exactly which tablet I have so hopefully someone can help me out as I have an identical tablet that is working.
It is an 8" capacitive touch tablet. Just tell me what to lookup and I'll post it.
Would greatly appreciate some help and direction on how to get this tablet working again.
Thanks in advance.
Zeki 7" Tablet TBDG773 Working Root, need a working recovery please?
location: droidradar.com - date: January 5, 2014
Root was achieved using Cydia Impactor, it connects easily and does all the work for you.
Only problem I have is finding a recovery either TWRP or Clockwork Mod, for backups or flashing files.
Please help me out?

Location Cache: manual delete. ***no longer need to be RootedTips
location: droidmania.com - date: May 3, 2011
If you are rooted here is a way to delete the Location Cache files manually. Location Cache records all the areas you have been to and stores them on your device. I'm not overly paranoid about this sort of tracking but, I do clear those files of at random times during the week. It's just like deleting cookies in a browser.
Using a file manager (I use Root Explorer) navigate to /data/data/com.google.android.location/files and delete the 'wifi' and 'cell' files. In Root Explorer I also bookmarked the above location to get there a bit faster.
Do I need to format my SD card?Support
location: droidmania.com - date: March 15, 2011
I am going to get an Incredible next month. Right now I have an Eris, and I have a 16Gb SDcard in it, which has tons of stuff on it. Music pictures, app skins, data, etc.
When I get my Incredible, do I need to do anything special to that card to make it ready for the new phone? When I download all my apps to the new phone, will they find their data and stuff on the SDcard and be able to locate everything?
I will probably delete the root related stuff off of the card just because I won't need it on the Incredible (it wouldn't work anyway). But is there anything else I need to delete, so the Incredible can setup whatever folders it needs to?
I want to get a 32Gb card, but until I can afford it, I'll have to make sure my 16Gb card will work on the new phone.
