What do we need from the next version of android?
location: androidhospital.com - date: June 3, 2014
So, with the announcement of new Apple iOS 8 updates people are now thinking about Google's plans.
Over on the Android Reddit page, some users are thinking Apple have upped their game and are narrowing the software gap. They noted new iOS additions like:
Action Buttons in notifications
Sharing data across apps
Third party keyboards
Fingerprint support in apps
Metal (10x hardware processing for games)
Do Google need to make some significant changes now to match Apple? What features would you like to see?

Since the ota update the battery life has been horrible. It's gotten much slower as well. After doing summer research it seems that a clean install may help. I would like to know If this is true and why.

Do I need to root my Android tv box?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 29, 2015
Hi guys, I know this will have been answered many times, but I am unsure as to which files are need for my specific device, and I don't want to brick it.
I have an: Android TV box MXIII 4K with android 4.4.2 and It came rooted I think, but as it kept freezing I did a factory reset, and now I can install the programs I had on it before, and I'm assuming I need to root it again.
I would be really grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction? I have rooted other devices in the past such as my Vega tablet, so I have 'basic' proficiency

Does anyone have a reliable link to download Windows XP USB drivers for a Galaxy S3 I9300? The links that are posted on this forum are old and lead to a page saying that Hotfile has been permanently closed. Links directly to Samsung are usless as weel because a search by model number doesn't even recognize the galaxy S3 I9300 as a valid model number.

Majority of Android phones are not "junk" phones
location: droidradar.com - date: May 22, 2014
The average sales price of an Android phone is around $300 right now. The One+1, a phone with flagship specs, sells for $300. That means the average Android consumer can now afford a flagship Android device. IDC data shows 66% of Android's 81% smartphone share are junk phones selling for $215 Windows Phones sell for about the same price. Contrary to popular belief, Android marketshare is not driven by cheap phones. The best selling Android Devices are high end, not low end, phones.
