Marigold, Orchid, Iris, etc... I strongly dislike these sounds, are there any "packs" of notification sounds anywhere that can be downloaded and added?
Do we need the App Police?
location: droidmania.com - date: July 25, 2010
I love the fact that the Market is open and anyone can create an App for Android phones. The problem is that not all developers are proficient enough to create well behaved Apps. Most problems that we are having with Android phones are caused by Apps not playing well with others not the Android operating system itself. We need to put more comments into the market when we discover problems with apps. I would prefer this instead of having Google become the App Police like Apple. It is difficult to determine which app is at fault when a problem occurs. For instance, why do some people have so much trouble answering their phone on the Droid using the slider. Some point to Handscent others point to other apps. How can we determine which app is at fault other than resetting the phone to Factory settings and starting over one app at a time? Seems a bit tedious. What do you think should be done?

Need to find a flipped QR scanner
location: droidradar.com - date: January 2, 2011
Hey, does anybody know where to find a barcode scanner that will scan horizontally flipped QR codes? my Archos tablet only has a front facing camera where the view is flipped. This means that QR codes can't be scanned unless I open them in photoshop and flip them around first.
qwerty keyboard need to change a setting, but don't know where to goSupport
location: droidmania.com - date: October 29, 2011
i'm using the qwerty keyboard, and when i press a letter on the keyboard, the same letter appears, larger, in a rectangle above the letter i just pressed. i guess this is to help make typing easier, but i'm finding it very distracting. is there any way i can change that? i went through settings > language and keyboard but i couldn't find anything that would change it. any help would be greatly appreciated, and i'm sorry if this question has come across muddled.

Need an android phone with QWERTY!
location: droidmania.com - date: December 3, 2011
I've been using the LG Optimus One for about an year now and I'm looking to buy an android with a physical QWERTY pad. I've narrowed it down to the Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510, Motorola Fire Xt311 and the Lg Pro c660. Factors like processor speed, operating speed and internal memory matter to me. I'm a heavy texter / social media user and not looking to play any games other than the occasional Fruit Ninja. Please advise which of these is the best buy! (Also, I'm located in India and these phones suit my budget: Priced below INR 10000, i.e $ 195 approx.)
I need to find a community which answers Android Beginner Questions!
location: androidhospital.com - date: June 2, 2014
I am a new Android learner, and I use some tutorials and books to proceed through eclipse, but I sometimes have some problems in my code and need some answers to my questions.
The problem is that websites like StackOverFlow looks at my questions as if they are silly or there's no effort in asking the question, which makes me frustrated.
Is this website the right one to ask "Silly" beginner questions or not?If not,can you refer me to communities or websites which I can interact with their members, because as you know the first step toward learning is asking questions.
Thanks a lot.Any help would be highly appreciated!

Please help, need some clarification on Firmware and installing custom ROMs
location: droidradar.com - date: July 23, 2014
I unlocked and rooted my HTC one a few months back (TWRP and SuperSU) and soon afterwards there was an OTA update available that I couldn't install without unrooting again, so I decided to put it off for a while.
Recently I noticed that if my phone powers itself off due to lack of battery, it will go into a boot loop when turned back on.
I can get out of that boot loop by manually powering off the phone before it crashes, then manually restarting it. But this is a but of a pain so I decided to do something about it. I was thinking of returning to stock by flashing the RUU but then decided I'd try out a ROM and see if I can find a way to get the IR device to work.
I basically want to wipe everything on my phone and start again with everything as up to date and optimal as possible.
I've spent a couple of days trying to get my head around everything but have ended up more confused than when I started. Should I upgrade my Firmware before installing a custom ROM or is
