How do you use your Edge Panel?
location: droidradar.com - date: May 16, 2016
Especially with several new panels just having been put out, I am just curious how everyone uses their Edge Panel - which panels do you use and all? Here's my setup:
Apps Edge - apps I want quick access to from whatever I am doing on my phone; apps like Contacts, Clock (for alarms), SplashID, Dictionary dot com app, etc.
My Places - apps I want quick access to when I am at certain places and out and about; home has bookmarks and timer; out and about has nearby places, my location, Google Maps, and Beep'nGo; the mall includes the Auntie Anne's Pretzels rewards card app; Dunkin' Donuts locations I frequent have the DD rewards card app; etc. (I also have the Beep'nGo app set to remind me to use my rewards cards stored in it when I am at those stores, but that has nothing to do with the Edge Panel besides that I also added the app to said places in My Places.)
Multi-Window - apps that open small over whatever you're doing (after they open, you can also choose to further minimize them
How do you like your edge after a few months?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 2, 2015
I currently have the Xperia Z3, and am up for a JUMP on T-Mobile in a few days. I first thought that the edge was going to be gimicky, but after we got them into the store and I played with it, I'm very impressed. So, for those of you that have had it for a few months, what are your thoughts? I vowed to never use touchwiz, but the features on this are making me think differently. Let me know, thanks!

For the guys how do you carry your gear?
location: droidradar.com - date: August 14, 2016
When Im out and about with my family, I throw my wallet, keys, phone (soon to be Note 7), etc into my messenger bag for comfortable, and mobility instead of stuffing my pockets and not being able to walk/sit down. My wife makes fun of my bag all the time. Was wondering what other guys out there are doing to carry their "stuff" around instead of just shoving things into their pockets.
The bag I use:
How do you carry your G4?
location: droidradar.com - date: July 12, 2015
I'm all but set on buying this over the S6. My one hesitation is the size.
Coming from the S4, I'm already annoyed by how bulky it looks in my pocket, and am not sure I can handle a larger device. How has everyone here been faring with it? Will it be a noticeable difference over my S4 or is it a tiny adjustment that I'll get used to?
No. I don't wear skinny jeans
How much data have you used according to your phone?
location: droidradar.com - date: December 31, 2011
So, since the 15th of December, I have used 4.9GB of data. Good thing I am garandfathered into the unlimited plan, because I would not be able to use my device as much as I would like without it. Not to mention I still have another 2 weeks or so to go before my billing cycle ends (on the 15th).

How do you 'mark as read' all your sms messages in the messaging app
location: droidradar.com - date: November 16, 2012
I have searched the forums but didnt come across a solution for this issue, so i wanted to post this up and see if anybody else finds this to be a problem and if they have a workaround.
Reading an sms does not always require to go into the messaging app, and clicking into the individual's thread who has sent you the message, you can simply look at the main screen of the messaging app and see the one line message, or even in the the notification screen i believe. But they are not marked as read if you only do that. Even if i clear the notification the notifications start building up when a new person send you an sms message. It will also show you that you have unread messages on the lock screen. The only way i can see the messages being marked as read is if i manually go into each persons message and view them and exit back to the main messaging screen and repeat it for all the persons who have messaged me. It seems to be a pain and while sometimes i can see the importance of
How do you store your photos? SD card, Google photos, both?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 28, 2016
I was so happy to see the S7 had support for an SD card, and I save all my phone's photos on it. However, lately I'm wondering if I should use a cloud service like Google Photos instead. I love the idea of an SD card, but cloud storage is great insurance in the chance of your phone being stolen or broken.
I'm curious how others store their photos.
