How Do you stop phone from vibrating when music is playing?
location: droidradar.com - date: May 6, 2014
The phone vibrates when audio is playing even through bluetooth. It's moving around my desk while Pandora is playing. How do I turn this vibration off? I already took off the Haptic feedback and all the feedback for that matter.
Phone first out of the box... How do you cycle the battery first few charges.
location: droidradar.com - date: April 26, 2013
So I usually charge my phone just out of the box to full charge then power it up for the first time. Then I run the phone till its dead. Then I charge it fully and run it till its dead again 3-4 times. Anyone else do this? Good or bad? What do you do?
How do you guys like your Gear 2 Neo?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 14, 2014
I'm loving mine. I figured how to customize the screens and move icons around. This will probably be considered not very user-friendly for the average user but I'm a geek. I use my watch a lot and I'm easily getting 2-3 days of battery life. The voice commands are great and it will even respond to most questions like "What is the population of Indianapolis, Indiana." I love using the watch to make and receive short phone calls. I temporarily had the original Gear so I knew the Neo would be cool but I have to admit that the Neo has exceeded my expectations and for only $200 (I paid $250 for that Pebble Steel I'll never use again).

How do you show off your Nexus 4?
location: droidradar.com - date: April 1, 2013
How do you guys show off your Nexus 4's? Do you push the sparkly glass back into peoples faces, or maybe show them the two finger swipe to get to your settings? Maybe the face unlock feature? Or, LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS?!
I show off my Nexus 4 by using the "Search with Camera" feature in Google Now and finding out information much quicker than my friends who have to type it into their "crapple devices"
'Do you want to change your default write disk?' Why does my phone ask this every 10 minutes?
location: droidradar.com - date: June 8, 2015
It's a Wiko Sunset running Android 4.4.2.
It keeps on asking me this question every 5-10 minutes; I set the default disk to SD card (almost) every time. Nevertheless, the next tie it asks, it's set the rite disk back to phone memory.
As a result I don't have enough space for photos, screenshots etc.
How do you actually activate a phone?
location: droidradar.com - date: November 20, 2012
Really silly question here but what do you actually do to activate a phone? I preordered the Note 2 so I want to be prepared when it arrives.
Also I am using my basic line to get the upgrade price so I will have to activate the Note 2 on that line to finish the upgrade and then, to deactivate it and use it on my unlimited line, I have to reactivate my basic phone back on its line. So, how do I then reactivate the original basic phone?
And laslty, how do I reactivate the Note 2 onto my unlimited line and will I need another SIM card to do so?

How do you protect your precious Note II?
location: droidradar.com - date: December 29, 2012
Hey everybody, i'm new to this forum and i just ordered the Note 2 online and am super excited for it.
I was considering a leather flip case, but think they may look strange. When it comes to a phone this size
What kind of cases do you all use, how practical are they, and would you recommend a screen protector?
How do you protect your Galaxy Note II and would you say its safe to roll with no case at all?
So you've just rooted your phone... now what to do
location: droidradar.com - date: February 22, 2012
Ok, I've seen enough people do some really silly things in the few days that root has been out, and I'd like to prevent people from having so many issues.
1) DO NOT freeze/delete the LG launcher if you are playing around with new/other launchers. If you do and you by chance remove your other launcher, your phone will not boot. Keeping it in the back round will not cost many resources and it is good to have the backup launcher there.
2) DO NOT delete system apps/bloatware unless you know what you are doing. A better choice is to use Titanium Backup and use the "freeze app" option. This prevents the app from loading, but leaves the file on your phone in case something goes wrong.
3) DO make a full backup of your phone. I prefer Titanium Backup, but the choice is your own.
4) DO ask before trying something if you're not sure about what you are doing. A lot of us have been doing this for a while now and we have had our share of mess ups. If in doubt, ask.
5) DO N
how do you get your incoming hangouts calls?
location: droidradar.com - date: December 23, 2013
Hi all. I searched the forum for "hangouts incoming" and found zip. Asking for input, please ...
How do you get your incoming Hangouts calls on your Chromebook? What did you install or tweak to make it work?
I purchased a Samsung Chromebook ( Samsung XE303C12-A01US 11.6" Chromebook - Silver ) for an older family member (neophyte) a couple months ago. I was really disappointed to find out that the version of Hangouts that comes pre-installed does not 'ring' when incoming Hangouts video calls come in. Is this the case for every Chromebook?
I installed the Hangouts extension in Chrome, on the Chromebook -- it doesn't work very well. An incoming notification appears very briefly then disappears; not very useful to a neophyte.
Thank you & happy holidays!
