How make Android app works with all Android versions?
I have created an Android app and signed and packaged it. That is version of Android that I have used in AndroidManifest:
<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="17" />
When I install the app on the latest Android it is working because the version matches the manifest. But when I try to install with older version of android it gave me an error:

I have been trying for more than a week now to find out anything about this message ...
At Google Webmaster i was told it is a Google Play problem since that is where the message originated and that i should go there.
At Google Play there is no forum for developers; none of the info and FAQs relate to this topic
Nothing on this topic in the help forums at freewebs
The general Google search turned up info about links between lots of things but not developer apps and websites
At Android Central they said it is a user forum not developers, suggested xda
No response at xda after 25+ views

Need custom android app development
location: droidmania.com - date: November 10, 2010
I need a developer to make a very simple android application for me. The app will be very simple and just needs to display a picture + text caption and have a back and forward button to view the next slide. I need the pimages and text to be easily changable for use with other projects via text files. If you can develop such an app for me, just pm me. I am very serious about this project, but due to the simplicity please understand i'm not looking to break the bank either. Thanks
Are there any Android App Development Tutorials online?
location: droidradar.com - date: December 25, 2014
When I started developing websites it was easy enough. If I had an idea, I could search the web and find a tutorial on something similar to what I was trying to accomplish. I had NO prior PHP / mySQL knowledge but wanted to create a form that MMA fighters interested in competing could fill out to register to compete in events. Their info (name, weight, stats, pic) would then be saved in to a database. I was able to find tutorials and create what I wanted to make fairly easy. Now I am really interested in app development but can't seem to find the resources out there for learning. Does anyone know of online tutorials that walk you through making sample applications?
Ultimately I'd like to make an app for a friend whose family has their own taxi service. People could use the app to call his cab and share their location so he would know where to pick them up and share their destination so he would know where to take them. There is more to it than that but that is a quick rundown. This

How to backup Android apps as APK files
location: androidhospital.com - date: April 24, 2014
I bet you all wish you could've done this when your favorite app dissapeared from the Google Play Store cough cough Flappy Bird!!! You can actually save an app that is no longer in the Play Store or even save a copy of an older version of an app before an update. Not only that, this makes it a lot easier to transfer apps to new devices.
This can be achieved with an app called File Expert with Clouds.
Open up the app and click on Apps.
Choose the ones that you would like to backup.
Then, guess what, just click on the backup button.
You can choose whether you want to backup your app to the cloud or locally on your phone.
You can send these files to yourself, your friends and make sure that no one will take away your favorite app EVER AGAIN!
