how to show folder(album) in gallery on lollipop
location: droidradar.com - date: February 26, 2015
I have a folder with some icons that I hide in gallery. I updated one of the pictures and wanted to show it again and gallery will not show it.
If I go into gallery and click on hide/show album that album shows with a check mark. I click on done and it displays something like hide/show was applied. However, the album never displays.
I have tried deleting the album and putting it back and it will not display. But if I change the name of the album in file explorer it shows
Is there any way to get the original folder to appear in gallery?

Android installed app folder?
location: droidmania.com - date: June 24, 2010
OK, this seems like a pretty simple question, but I can't seem to find an answer...
When a 3rd party app is installed on an Android phone, what folder is the ".apk" file for that app placed in?
I thought it would be in "\systems\app" (there the stock android apps are stored), but I looked in their, and it seems like only the apps that come with the phone are in there.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
No R.java file! Gen folder empty!
location: androidhospital.com - date: June 7, 2013
Hello all, hopefully someone here can help me out. When I start a new android application, my gen folder is created empty, meaning I'm missing my r.java file and can't compile my project. I've tried some of the solutions I've found online such as making sure the SDK and ADT are up to date, cleaning, building, and deleting the gen folder to see if a new one is created by the auto-build. Nothing seems to work.Thank you for your help!!
Move apps out of an app drawer folder?
location: droidradar.com - date: October 13, 2013
I sure can't figure this out, and I sure can't find anything that talks about it, so here's my simple question:
I'm working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, which has a folder in the app drawer. I want to move the apps in that folder OUT of there, and just put them back into the overall app drawer.
But I just can't even begin to figure it out -- all I can do is move the apps to a home screen, but they'll remain in that app drawer folder. So, is this even possible?

Can you create a folder on the app screen?
location: droidradar.com - date: July 14, 2012
Just got my (used, stock configuration) epic, and I am trying to figure out some of the nuances. There are a LOT of applictions on the app screen, and I could do without a lot of them. On my old blackberry, I'd just put all of the apps I didn't use into a folder and not worry about them. I tried that on this phone but could only get folder on the home screen and that doesn't serve my purpose. Is there a eay to make a folder for apps on the apps screen? Thanks, Lisa
Possible to create a folder on homescreen?General
location: droidmania.com - date: October 11, 2012
Hi, I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I have downloaded 2 videos I have made and one powerpoint presentation (using Polaris Office). All works very well. I would like to create a folder on the homescreen where I can put these 3 items. I have "googled" a lot to find an answer without any luck. Is it possible to create a general folder on the homescreen?
Hope someone can help me
Make a Folder on DesktopGeneral
location: droidmania.com - date: February 17, 2013
I've been trying out a lot of applications and my desktop is getting rather busy because of it. I was looking at third party apps which put your desktop icons in folders, but heard there was a way touchwiz could do it. After digging and googling, touchwiz might be able to do it but I can't figure out how. So does anyone know if it can. If not can anyone recommend an app that does it and save me trouble evaluating?
